Test your confidence. Let yourself shine where you know you can.
Learn the local language.
PAY ATTENTION.Keep your phone/wallet tucked away.
Meet others. Chat with everyone. Locals. Travellers. Tourists. Have Fun!
Lie a little. If you feel unsafe or feel like you're being followed. Ask "Where is the museum? I am meeting my friend there."
